Follow Your Lead (FYL) Peer-to-Peer Volunteer Program

The Follow Your Lead (FYL) program is a peer-to-peer volunteer group that creates and operates fun tabling events and interactive programs such as Safer Sex Kiosks, Pridefest, International Women’s Day, and Trans Day of Remembrance, to educate Ramapo’s student body on gender equity, LGBTQ+ issues, effective allyship, mental health awareness, sexual health, and more. FYL peers are responsible for upholding the Women’s Center & LGBTQ+ Services’ mission of promoting social justice, diversity, inclusion, equity, and acceptance. In addition, FYL peers help to provide educational resources and support to women-identified and LGBTQIA+ students on campus.

FYL Peers can:

  • Help with the day-to-day functions of the Women’s Center
  • Create and/or assist with programs and events
  • Host outreach tablings to promote resources and upcoming events
  • Help co-facilitate Safe Zone Training and other workshops
  • And much more!
