In the Anisfield School of Business, we are proud to offer a distinctive combination of an accredited business education and a strong grounding in the liberal arts.听 Our students receive solid professional preparation in their fields, and they understand the role that business plays in the wider socio-cultural context.听 ASB graduates enter the professional world as creative, enlightened thinkers, and their careers are characterized by a blend of business success and social responsibility.

Recent Highlights

鈥� (Re)Accreditation! In January 2021 the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) extended the accreditation of the Anisfield School of Business through 2025.
鈥� MBA: In Fall 2020, we launched a re-structured 鈥�4+1鈥� MBA program in which undergraduate business majors can complete their degree in just 30 credits.
鈥� M.S. in Accounting
The M.S. in Accounting program, launched in 2017, continues with strong enrollment and strong interest among current Accounting majors looking to remain at Ramapo for their Master鈥檚 degree and working professionals returning to obtain the degree for career advancement.
鈥� Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME): In 2017, ASB became a signatory on Principles of Responsible Management Education, a United Nations Global Compact initiative to promote ethics, social responsibility, and sustainability in business education, as manifest in curricular, extra-curricular, and faculty research activities.
鈥� Eastern Economic Association: ASB is the headquarters of the EEA, with Professor Alexandre Olbrecht serving as Executive Director. The EEA gives our faculty and students access to world class economic research through their annual conference.
鈥� ENACTUS: Our student community service/social entrepreneurship club, ENACTUS, finished in the top 12 in the nation at the national competition in April 2021
鈥� Roadrunner Financial Group, our student investment club, continues to successfully manage a $50,000 investment portfolio.
鈥� ASB serves as the Bergen County headquarters of the Small Business Development Center, which provides consulting services for regional small businesses and serves as a resource for faculty and students. The SBDC received statewide recognition for its pandemic-related Economic Recovery Task Force Initiative and Internship Program.
鈥� Women鈥檚 Entrepreneurship Week: ASB, the Small Business Development Center, and the student club Enactus partnered to host Women鈥檚 Entrepreneurship Week in October 2020; the event included presentations, panel discussions, and hands-on learning experiences for the more than 100 students who attended.
