FAFSA Fridays
In response to the changing financial aid landscape, the new NJ legislation around high school competition of FAFSA and the delays that families are experiencing, 69色情视频’s Office of Financial Aid is launching FAFSA Fridays. From February 16th through May 31st, Financial Aid will be available for any walk-in, call or virtual appointments to help students, families, guidance counselors, and all other community members learn about and complete the new FAFSA form. The Office of Financial Aid is located on the second floor of the Academic Complex in the E-Wing Room E-210. The FAFSA Friday appointment hours are on Friday from 10am to 4pm. Education after high school costs time, money, and effort. It鈥檚 a big investment, but well worth it. At 69色情视频 of New Jersey, we help students manage their costs through a combination of federal, state, and institutional funds.
About 67 percent of Ramapo鈥檚 students receive more than $40 million in aid. This aid includes grants 鈥� funds which the students are awarded but don鈥檛 have to pay back 鈥� and loans, which must be repaid. Students also can receive a work-study job to earn money to help pay for school.
Schedule an Appointment & Discuss Financial Hardships or Change in Family Circumstances
The Office of Financial Aid is now scheduling appointments for students who need to conduct business in person.听 Appointments can be made through email at听finaid@ramapo.edu or through our chat located on our website. In person appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. However, we are confident that most questions can be handled without in-person visits via a phone call, a Webex meeting or email.
If you or your family are experiencing financial hardships or family circumstances have changed please email or call the Office of Financial Aid so we can discuss your situation and the possibility of a re-evaluation of your financial aid award.

Accepting Your Loans
Please be aware, students must now Accept or Decline Federal Direct Loans through the 69色情视频 Self-Service.听 Your loan will not appear on your bill until you do so.听 Please follow these instructions:
Log into听听with your Ramapo Email username and password
- Select 鈥�Student Services & Financial Aid鈥� and 鈥�Financial Aid鈥�
- Select 鈥�My Award Information鈥� and 鈥�Award by Aid Year鈥�
- Choose Award Year 2023-2024
- Select 鈥�Accept Award Offer鈥� tab
The Award Overview tab is a summary of your financial aid package.听 The Terms and Conditions tab provides you with important information about your awards.听 The 鈥�Accept Award Offer鈥� tab is where you must choose to accept or decline your loans.
Other Important Information:
NJ Residents听make sure that you complete the required additional state questions no later than September 15.
To provide this information online, you must create a login to听HESAA鈥檚 NEW student information system, NJFAMS听to do this:
- Go to听.听 If you do not yet have a user name and password to NJFAMS, you will be able to create one.
- Click the听鈥渃reate a student login鈥�听link to create your user name and password to the听NEW听蝉测蝉迟别尘.
- Once logged into NJFAMS you can view any outstanding tasks that require your attention to complete your record.
