May 14, 2025: Arching Day

Arching ceremonies mark both the beginning and ending of the 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ experience. On their first day as Ramapo students, the Class of 2025 students processed up Mansion Road and through the Arch where they were greeted by our College President. On May 14, 2025, graduates of the Class of 2025 processed through the Arch and down Mansion Road  lined with cheering families, friends, faculty, and staff.

May 15, 2025: Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony (Bachelors Degrees)

More than 1,160 newly-minted 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ of New Jersey graduates accepted their undergraduate degrees Thursday, May 15, during a vibrant commencement ceremony at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ – where speakers stressed the value of being bold, being kind, and being good teammates.

May 22, 2025: Graduate Programs Commencement Ceremony (Masters/Doctoral Degrees)

The 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ Class of 2025 Graduate Programs Commencement Ceremony will be held on campus in the Arena of the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center. Doors will open at 4 p.m. The ceremony will begin with the academic processional at 5:15 p.m.

Tickets are required for all guests. Graduates do not need a ticket.

Graduation vs. Commencement

Graduation and Commencement are often confused for one another.

Graduation is the completion of all degree requirements as certified and recorded on a student’s official transcript.  To graduate from 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ, you must submit an online graduation application by the required deadline.  Click here for more information on the graduation requirement, the online graduation application and deadline dates.

°ä´Ç³¾³¾±ð²Ô³¦±ð³¾±ð²Ô³ÙÌýis the ceremony that celebrates the completion (or anticipated completion) of your degree. All January graduates and June & August graduation candidates are invited to participate. Commencement marks the conclusion of your academic career; a time for the 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ community, along with your family and friends, to celebrate you. Participation in this ceremony does not guarantee graduation.
