Vincent DePaul lived his faith through service, generously giving his time to his church, the Knights of Columbus, the Boy Scouts, and his community. He believed in working hard and doing things right. He built a successful business with his brothers and instilled his work ethic and values to his children.
Family was at the heart of Vincent鈥檚 life, and he worked hard to make sure they stayed close. His greatest joy was having his family around him and creating memories together. He was honest, dependable, and true to his word. He treated people fairly and earned their trust through the way he lived his life鈥攏ot by what he said, but by what he did. He was a man of few words. He didn鈥檛 need to tell people what he believed in or how they should live.
Vincent passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 92. His family created this scholarship in his memory to benefit first-generation students who have someone in their family who helped shape who they are.
