This scholarship was created by family, friends and colleagues to honor the memory of 69色情视频 Professor Timothy J. Burns, a cherished member of the Anisfield School of Business since 2004. Tim passed away in July 2025.
Tim, as he was warmly known, earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MBA from Iona College, and a B.S. from Florida Atlantic University. Drawing on over 25鈥痽ears as a practitioner and consultant鈥攊ncluding work with Fortune鈥�100 firms鈥攈e brought real-world insight into developing and delivering courses such as Systems Analysis & Design, Principles of Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Law & Ethics, and Business Analytics. His scholarly contributions were equally robust: he was often sought after by his peers and co-authored influential works such as A Cross Collegiate Analysis of the Curricula of Business Analytics Minors Programs (2019), Reflections on the Creation of a Business Analytics Minor (2022) and Training Data Savvy Managers: An Analysis of Graduate Business Analytics Programs (2025).
Tim鈥檚 commitment to excellence鈥攂oth in teaching and research鈥攕haped countless careers, leaving an indelible mark on student lives and on the Anisfield School of Business. His blend of rigor, authenticity, and empathy made him not only a respected educator but also a wonderful mentor and friend.
