Eileen Comerford 鈥80 Ethical Change Agent Scholarship

Eileen Comerford 鈥80 earned a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration. She is currently the Regional Coordinator for the NJ Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman, having served as a volunteer advocate for 11 years. She is also a retired Director of Municipal Investments at Gallatin & Company, LLC. Previously, she worked for J. & W. Seligman & Company, Inc. managing municipal bond funds. Eileen joined the Foundation Board of Governors in 2014; she serves as Treasurer of the Board and Chair of the Finance Committee. She is also a member of the Audit, Investment, and Performing Arts Series committees. Eileen is a member of the ASB Alumni Advisory Board and the Roadrunner Financial Group Advisory Board. She served on the Learning Commons Capital Campaign Cabinet and made a major gift to the campaign. Eileen was honored at the 2021 Distinguished Citizen鈥檚 Gala.

Eileen has had the opportunity to engage with students as a mentor and, in her role as a member of the Foundation Executive Board, has attended various events including the annual Scholarship Reception. She has seen firsthand the impact a scholarship can have on a student鈥檚 education. She created this scholarship to benefit a student of any major who strives to be 鈥渁n ethical change agent.鈥
