Favorite Class: My favorite class has been Intro To Creative Writing with Professor Hoch! Writing has always been one of my favorite side hobbies and throughout my busy schedule with college, I had stopped for a while. Hoch’s class allowed me to get back into writing and I looked forward to the class every week. It became a great de-stressor for me and I got to write some great stories and hear even better ones from my classmates!

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is a tie between the peer intern office and the learning commons/library! I love seeing the friendly faces that stop by the office and I love hanging out in there. If I’m not in there or class, you’ll probably find me in the library getting some homework done and drinking Starbucks!

Clubs/Organizations: Other than being apart of the peer program, I am a member of Tri Sigma Sorority and serve as our Public Relations & Marketing Chair, as well as being a member of the Deans Advisory Council for ASB, and a founding member of the ASB social media team.

Future Plans: After I complete my undergraduate degree I plan to get my masters in Higher Education and work in a college. I want to help students transition into college life and feel comfortable and welcomed and know that they have someone in their corner to always help and support them.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: Everything happens for a reason, even if it doesn’t feel right or make you happy in the moment, the outcome will lead you to where you are meant to be.

Advice for First-Year Students: Getting involved is the most important thing for students to do in order to get the best out of their college experience. Join clubs, go to events, and reach out to classmates! Sometimes you’ll have to step out of your comfort zone, but when you look back on it, you’ll be grateful that you did.
