Favorite Class:聽Although I’m a Nursing major, I really enjoy Intro to Psych. Professor Wannamaker is hilarious, and he makes the lectures engaging and fun. I love learning about the complexities of the human mind and behavior. It鈥檚 so cool to understand how our thoughts, emotions, and actions work. I also really enjoy my Chemistry Lab because it gives me the opportunity to apply what I鈥檝e learned in lecture through hands-on experiments. Chemistry has made me look at the world differently and appreciate the processes around me.

Favorite Place on Campus:聽One of my favorite places on campus is the Spiritual Center, especially the seating area right by the pond. It鈥檚 the perfect spot to unwind, listen to some music, and enjoy the peaceful scenery, where I can clear my mind. I also love sitting outside the Learning Commons during sunset. The view is amazing, and it鈥檚 the perfect time to snap some beautiful pictures.

Future Plans:聽Looking ahead, I am excited to explore opportunities that will help with both my academic and professional growth. I am interested in pursuing internships and attending workshops that will help me gain on-hands experience and deepen my understanding of patient care. After graduation, I would love to work in Labor and Delivery or Pediatrics.

Advice for First-Year Students:聽Don’t be afraid to ask for help whenever you need it, no matter the circumstance. Ramapo offers a ton of resources and a great support system, from your professors to your peer facilitators. We want you to succeed! Look at any challenges as opportunities to learn and grow :)!
