Favorite Class: Federal Taxation is my favorite class because the professor(Michael Cornell) makes the material engaging and easy to understand. It changed my perspective on tax and made the subject much more interesting and practical.

Favorite Place on Campus: I enjoy walking across campus, from the freshmen dorms to the Village, turf, and Laurel. And, I enjoy hanging out with friends in Starbucks as well.

Clubs/Organizations: I am a part of South Asian Dance Team here in Ramapo, and I extremely enjoy it; everyone makes time to attend, connect and explore various cultures including me and I love it.

Future Plans: I am currently completing an internship with FuturePlan by Ascensus. After graduation, I plan to pursue my CPA licensure as soon as possible and continue building my career in accounting.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: Be selfish – experience everything for yourself. Don’t feel a certain way just because someone else did; create your own perspective through your own experiences.

Advice for First-Year Students: When you try new things, you will experience uncertainty and discomfort at first, but you will never regret the growth that comes from it.
