A/V Instructions 鈥� ASB 523

Call the IT helpdesk x7777 for further assistance.

  1. Locate the control panel聽on the wall near the screen.
  2. Power on the system聽by pressing the 鈥淥n鈥� button on the control panel.
  3. If using the room鈥檚 desktop computer, press 鈥淧C鈥� on the control panel.
  4. If using a laptop, use the provided HDMI cable to connect the laptop to the panel.
    Note: If your laptop does not support HDMI, please visit your dean鈥檚 office to inquire about a suitable adapter.

    1. After connecting the HDMI cable, press 鈥淟aptop鈥� on the control panel.
  5. Ensure that the device recognizes the room鈥檚 audio output, labeled
    1. 鈥淓PSON PJ (Intel庐 Display Audio)鈥� for PC or
    2. 鈥淓PSON PJ (AMD High Definition Audio Device)鈥� for laptop.
      This can be confirmed in your device鈥檚 audio settings.
  6. Adjust the volume聽as needed using the up/down controls on the control panel.
  7. To switch from laptop to desktop, select the 鈥淧C鈥� option on the control panel.
  8. If an input selection menu appears on the screen, use the projector remote or the buttons on the projector to select the correct input.
  9. When finished,聽power off the system聽by pressing the 鈥淥ff鈥� button on the control panel.
  10. After use, please neatly wrap the HDMI cable and return it to the designated hook mounted on the wall.
