To award credit, students must submit the official score report and\/or official transcript to the Office of Admissions. You can determine if testing is required based on the following:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 40px\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reading\/Essay Placement Test &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0Students with less than a 620 Evidence Based Reading and Writing score, less than a 26 composite ACT score or have not received college credit must take this test.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Math Placement Test &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0Students with less than a 580 Math score on the new SAT, less than a 26 composite ACT score, or have not received college credit must take this test.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calculus Placement Test &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0Students majoring in math or any of the natural sciences (such as biology or chemistry, except nursing majors) or anyone interested in taking Pre-Calculus or Calculus I (regardless of major) must take the Calculus Placement Test. Only students who scored a 3, 4 or 5 on the AP Calculus test or have received college credit for Pre-calculus are exempt from this exam.<\/li>\n<li><strong>STAMP World Language Testing &#8211;<\/strong> Students in the School of Arts, Humanities, and Education (AHE) are required to complete an intermediate-level world language course. If you have prior knowledge, we recommend you take the placement test prior to Orientation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Still unsure which test(s) you need?<\/b>\u00a0Use this online\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/testing\/check-required-placement-testing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/testing\/check-required-placement-testing\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1611698855555000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFJYMCc_cppLkLmwuZmpuT6mw5gRw\">form<\/a> to input your SAT\/ACT scores and major and receive a list of your applicable placement test(s).\u00a0 For your SAT\/ACT scores to exempt you from testing, you must officially send them to\u00a0<a title=\"mailto:admissions@ramapo.edu\" href=\"mailto:admissions@ramapo.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">admissions@ramapo.edu<\/a>. Please contact <a href=\"mailto:orient@ramapo.edu\">orient@ramapo.edu<\/a> with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Student Accounts: <\/strong>Bills will be generated and posted to your student account through <a href=\"https:\/\/experience.elluciancloud.com\/rconj\/?name=homepage&amp;accessibility=true\">Web Self Service<\/a> once you are registered for courses. Bills will not be mailed home.
