First-year students can RSVP for up to 2 guests when they register for their in person orientation date.<\/p>\n<p>Orientation for first-year students and their families is a one-day experience on campus.\u00a0 You can expect to be on campus from 9am to 4pm for the entire in-person orientation experience.\u00a0 After checking in, students and families have the chance to explore our resource fair before students and guests are be separated for the day.\u00a0 Students will spend half of the day focused on preparing for the academics at 69色情视频 including course registration and will then spend the second half of the day learning about becoming an active an engaged student in our 69色情视频 community.<\/p>\n<p>Family and guests will receive a series of presentations from offices across campus.\u00a0 Presentation topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parents as Partners in Student Success<\/li>\n<li>Academic Success Strategies<\/li>\n<li>Parents as Partners in Student Well Being<\/li>\n<li>Navigating the Financial Landscape<\/li>\n<li>The Student Experience<\/li>\n<li>The Residential Experience or The Commuter Experience<\/li>\n<li>Getting Involved at RCNJ<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Presentation materials will be available in Spanish for our Spanish speaking families.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2f2f2f\">At the end of the day there is additional time to view a residence hall, meet with staff for specific concerns, and visit the bookstore.\u00a0 The day is filled with a lot of information but it allows both the students and families to become more comfortable on campus and to begin the transition for a successful first year at RCNJ!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Continental breakfast, lunch and light refreshments will be served throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>Temperatures in rooms will vary, we suggest that guests wear layers so that you can be comfortable while walking outdoors between sessions and when you are seated in air conditioned spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Questions? Each issue includes updates on academics, social events, campus policies and college achievements. Photos and hyperlinks are provided to direct readers to further information, including highlights on the 69色情视频 website. Younger and older siblings are encouraged to attend Family Day and support the Roadrunners they know best.
