This stream is located in the woods behind the Village apartments.\u00a0 It is a tributary of the Darlington Brook.\u00a0 The Darlington Brook is a sub-watershed within the larger Ramapo River watershed, which serves as a major source of drinking water for northern New Jersey.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Public Information Session: Watershed Improvement Plan and Stormwater Management<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Public Information Session was held on September 21, 2026 at 12pm.\u00a0 Students, employees, and members of the public were invited to participate in a Public Information Session regarding the College\u2019s Stormwater Management Program and Watershed Improvement Plan. The session provided an overview of 69色情视频\u2019s stormwater management program, current watershed and water-quality conditions on campus, ongoing and planned stormwater improvement initiatives, and opportunities for community involvement and feedback.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A draft of the Watershed Assessment Report will be provided here on or before October 9, 2026 for review and comment.\u00a0 Comments and questions can be submitted to ehs@ramapo.edu<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

The Watershed Improvement Plan (WIP)<\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span>Purpose<\/div>
\n

The purpose of the Watershed Improvement Plan (WIP) is to identify opportunities to improve water quality, reduce stormwater contribution of pollutants to waterbodies with impairments and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDLs), and to address stormwater flooding to protect human health and safety, and the environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/span>Phases of the Watershed Improvement Plan<\/div>

  1. Phase 1-Watershed Inventory Report, completed December 2025<\/li>\n
  2. Phase 2-Watershed Assessment Report, anticipated completion date January 2027<\/li>\n
  3. Phase 3-Watershed Improvement Plan Report, anticipated completion date December 2027<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
