Sunday<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 am &#8211; 5pm:\u00a0 Closed (unless reservations requested through E&amp;C).<\/li>\n<li>Evening hours to be determined based on reservation requests, resources, and vendor availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Exam Periods<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extended hours will be available for quiet space; advance notice will be provided in Daily Digest.<\/li>\n<li>During exam periods, the Commons will not be reservable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>General Capacity:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Seating for 50<\/li>\n<li>103 with seating and standing (Two 6\u2019 tables reduces capacity by 4)<\/li>\n<li>Lounge area has seating for 20 and six cube tables<\/li>\n<li>Dining area has seating for 20 at ten tables of two<\/li>\n<li>Additional seating, couch clusters for seating of five with coffee tables is available<\/li>\n<li>Glass Room has two 6&#8242; tables for faculty\/staff meetings seating 8 people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Guidelines for Use:<\/h4>\n<p>Users of the space are asked to observe the following guidelines:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>See above for building hours for faculty\/staff and building hours for students.<\/li>\n<li>The Commons itself has limited flexibility.\u00a0 While IT and AV setups can be supported, as well as modest catering tables, the general seating in the Commons remains largely stationary.\u00a0 Should users wish to rearrange some of the chairs or furnishings toward a particular part of the space, they may do so on their own while (a) taking great care to not damage the furniture, floors, walls, or other fixtures, and (b) returning all chairs and furnishings to their original locations.\u00a0 Furnishings cannot be removed the Commons building as there is no adjacent storage.<\/li>\n<li>Individuals may bring in food and drinks or utilize the vending machines. Users are expected to clear tables after personal use and carefully return any moved furniture to its original location.<\/li>\n<li>The reservation requestor is responsible for advising the campus, through the Daily Digest or signage at the Commons, when a program is being held.\u00a0 The purpose of this notification is to both promote the program and to extend a courtesy to those community members who may wish to find an alternative on-campus space to gather.<\/li>\n<li>Please address any housekeeping need or questions to E&amp;C or CSI. Emergencies should immediately be reported to Public Safety (x6666) or call 911.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Reserving Padovano Commons:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Groups may gather or meet in Padovano Commons dining room\/lounge area without official reservations.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty\/Staff may request use of the Glass Room for up to 8 people at a conference table M-F from 8 a.m. &#8211; 4 p.m. Requests can be made through 25Live.<\/li>\n<li>Students may request use of the Commons M-W from 5 p.m. &#8211; 12 Midnight by contacting the Center for Student Involvement at csi@ramapo.edu.<\/li>\n<li>The Commons will not typically be reserved in its entirety for daytime events prior to 4pm. Special approval will be required and notice will be posted. For special events, four 6&#8242; tables can be set-up in the Glass Room.<\/li>\n<li>Even when reserved for a gathering for daytime events prior to 4pm, the space will remain open to faculty and staff.\u00a0 Faculty and staff who are not participating in the activity for which the reservation was made may use portions of the Commons not occupied by the reserving group so long as they do not interfere with or disturb the activities of the reserving group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Full policy can be accessed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/policies\/policy\/padovano-commons-usage\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
