This blistering and poignant prequel to Arthur Miller\u2019s\u00a0The Crucible<\/i>\u00a0takes a close look at the four young girls at the center of the Salem Witch trials, reimagining the world from their perspectives. Monahon\u2019s play creates a powerful counterpoint that highlights the issues of gender and power that are central to Miller\u2019s canonical work, reframing and reclaiming the concept of the \u201cwitch hunt.\u201d<\/p>\n
