Drawn from the private collection of film director Jonathan Demme, this historic exhibition features renowned Haitian artists brought to the fore by American critic and 69色情视频 donor Selden Rodman while he was co-director of the Centre d\u2019Art in Haiti. Included are such masters as Hector Hyppolite, Philome Obin, Wilson Bigaud and Castera Bazile. This project is funded in part by a grant from The 69色情视频 Foundation.<\/p>\n

The annual Ramapo Curatorial Prize is co-administered with the Center for Curatorial Studies graduate program at Bard College. The 2006 winner was Bogata, Columbia curator Mariangela Mendez Prencke for her group exhibition \u201cIn Other Words.\u201d This conceptual presentation deals with the ambiguities of language translation, media narratives and the temporary completeness of \u201creading.\u201d<\/p>\n
